La mia Storia
Later I started with track karts thanks to the help from my dad, that was the mechanic. I passed most of my weekends competing in Italian and European championships until when the age of 16. After that, I joined the automotive world where I aimed for the Formula 1.
The first two years I participated in the open-wheel car championship such as, Formula Renault 1600 and 2000, after that I decided to change direction and discover a new way, so I entered the Grand Tour (known as GT).
I made my first appearance in the Italian championship with a Maserati to afterwards go to the World championship with the FIA GT, where of cars such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Viper raced. After my debut, I closed 2006 with a final raking of 3rd place. In 2007, I did debut in the well-known 24 Hours of Daytona race in a Ferrari 360, but unfortunately after a few hours we were forced to forfeit. Once back in Italy, I was contacted to participate in the Porsche race cup and the 24 hour Spa-Francorchamps race, at the time they were valid for the GT world championship, crossing the line in fourth place….
After these 3 years in GT, I rode 2 years (2008 and 2009) in the world of prototype cars, and I was able to race in 24 Hours of Le mans in 2008, even if in the end we couldn’t take part in it, due to some problems in the team. At last, in 2009 we succeeded in taking part in the most famous Gran Prix (1000 km), Le Mans in the Imp2 category, with excellent results.
In the last few years the friendship that binds me with Valentino Rossi and his trusted friend Uccio, is thanks to the passion we share for both the 4 wheelers. During the weekend we don’t have to compete races, we like to compete with each on board a Ferrari, combining fun and training. The story continues… just follow me to discover it… Close
